Taylor Swift Answers Fans' Questions On The Disappearance Of Meredith, Her Cat

Taylor Swift has set the record straight on a rather urgent concern over one of her beloved felines, Meredith Grey.

Some fans have been asking the singer why the Scottish Fold cat — named after the character played by Ellen Pompeo on Grey’s Anatomy — wasn’t in her most recent social media posts.

Swift has also two other pets, cats Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button.

Swift took to social media today to thank her fans for their continuous support and finally answering the pressing questions about Meredith.

The Shake It Off singer has just published Fearless (Taylor’s Version), a re-released version of her 2008 album including hits like You Belong With Me as well as unreleased tracks.

In a tweet published today (April 16,) Swift thanked her fans for making Fearless the biggest release of the year so far.

“WELL WELL WELL you all really went out and left my greatest expectations in shambles this week.Word on the street is you made Fearless (my version) the biggest country album 1st week of the last 6 years & the top release of 2021 so far. Honestly?? How?? Did I get this lucky??” Swift tweeted.

Taylor Swift Solves The Meredith Mystery For Her Fans

Swift also took the time to explain what happened to Meredith. Before you panic, her eldest cat is doing just fine.

“I wanted to say thank you to you so today I will be addressing a very pressing issue,” Swift captioned the video, adding two cats emojis and a question mark emoji to add to the suspense.

We’ve been hearing some rumors on the Internet recently,” the singer says while holding Benjamin Button.

“They’re not about you, Benj, but they’re about your sisters,” she added.

The clip includes a series of worried comments about the sudden disappearance of Meredith.

“The truth is, Meredith just HATES having her picture taken,” the video explains.

“So yeah, here it is, there you have it, that’s the explanation. She’s just like a really private little cat, she likes her business kept to herself,” Swift added.

“She doesn’t like a camera shoved in her face and who could blame her,” the singer continued.
